When to visit Marrakech

Overview

Marrakech reads in four distinct seasons, each with its own tempo: bright spring, hot and quiet summer, shoulder autumn, mild luminous winter. The month you pick decides your relationship to the patio, the rooftop and the medina.

Practical details

Avoid the second half of July and first half of August: dry heat regularly tops 38°C, and several medina riads aren't equipped for that peak. March-May and October-November remain the most comfortable windows.
